George's Hideaway Log Cabin is located in the lush countryside of West Tennessee, nestled in a private, tree-lined nook on the Hiatt Horse Farm. Audrey Hiatt's father, George Metzler, built the cabin over twenty years ago.

The one bedroom, secluded cabin provides a unique opportunity to curl up with a good book or view native wildlife from the shady screened-in porch. Bring your walking shoes and camera to explore acres of woods to bird watch or perhaps meet the family of deer or wild turkey. We'll even supply the picnic basket for your hike! You are invited to relax in a hammock, cool off by taking a dip in our pond, or bring a pole and fish a little. In the winter, the brick fireplace compliments traditional heating and provides a warm, romantic ambiance.

The cabin has a country style kitchen, small dining room, comfortable bedroom, and a cozy living room with a large picture window. If you would like to prepare a special meal, you will find all the utensils needed and even some basic supplies like spices and oil. Linens and towels are provided.

One of the newer additions to the cabin is the romantic two person whirlpool tub. You can choose to look out the windows at nature while enjoying the tub or close the curtains. You are sure to love the rustic towel hangers and all cedar room, which has a lovely cedar aroma, along with the candlelit ambiance (candles are provided).
